Avengers Infinity War is a 2018 Marvel Studios and Walt Disney Studios. The latest updates and spoilers of "Avengers Infinity War" reveal that Thor Odinson's adoptive brother, Loki, will join Thanos and The Black Order in the film. The Brazilian news website Omelete tweeted that the president of #Marvel Studios, Kevin Feige, confirmed the theory, which for a long time was rumored, during the CCXP event and added more participation and complications to the story. Feige also revealed that future "Avengers" films will be held in space after the events of Phase 3 and will give the studio the opportunity to tell more enriching stories in the Marvel film universe. Although in the comics it is very different, the adaptations to the cinema depend to a large extent on the character played by Robert Downey Jr., not only for the charisma of the actor, also for the importance of his path and redemption. Tony was the one who had the vision of a world destroyed by his fault, it is he who feels responsible for endangering Spider-Man and it is he who we see being defeated in one fell swoop by Thanos in the Avengers trailer: Infinity War. A new comic, a prelude to the next film, reveals much more about the character and opens new paths for his future. Avengers Infinity War is scheduled to be released on April 27, 2018.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is following in Star Wars’ footsteps with a novelized expansion of its on-screen universe. Barry Lyga’s new novel, Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War: Thanos—Titan Consumed, will give Avengers villain Thanos his own origin story when it hits shelves November 20th.

It's less than two weeks until Avengers: Infinity War finally arrives in theaters and we know maybe a handful of details about the movie. While there's a basic logline, the Russo Brothers implied that wasn't even the "true plot" of the movie, so who knows what going on here. When you have a movie this secretive, with fans this excited, there's going to be way more rumor than fact leading up to the release date. However, even the craziest of rumors can have a grain of truth to them.

You may have seen a recent Twitter meme in which, following Marvel’s claim that the forthcoming Avengers: Infinity War was the “most ambitious crossover event of all time”, users humorously presented various alternatives – from Footballer’s Wives meeting Bad Girls, to He-Man and She-Ra, to America’s Next Top Model featuring the queens of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Joking aside, as the poster for Infinity War was unveiled, it sunk in how just how insane the cast of this film is. Avengers Assemble (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2014) and Captain America: Civil War (2015) were big, but this is bigger. There has never been a cinematic event on this scale.

Thanos has long been teased as the be-all-end-all threat for the MCU’s Avengers; he’ll take center stage during the upcoming film Avengers: Infinity War. But as noted in Lyga’s novel, Thanos’ ability to wield the incredible power of Infinity Stones is hard-earned, and the big-chinned, purple villain walked a long road to get here. “Born on a doomed world and cast out by his people for his genius, physical deviancy, and pragmatic but monstrous ideas, Thanos is determined to save the galaxy from the same fate as his homeworld,” the summary reads. ”No matter how many billions have to die.”

Let's not beat around the bush. We all know that someone is dying in Avengers: Infinity War. Maybe even more than one someone. Thanos is the Big Bad (capital Bs warranted) and there's no way the Avengers and co are taking him down without losing some teammates. Question is, who won't live to see Marvel Phase Four?

In an interview with Gizmodo, Lyga says that he doesn’t necessarily want to paint Thanos as a sympathetic character. Rather, the idea is to help readers understand how his path inevitably lead him to his current standing as the Avengers’ greatest foe. “It’s less about making him likable and more about making him understandable,” Lyga says. “A small distinction, perhaps, but an important one... I wanted those logical leaps to fall into place. For his path to be so rational and so sensible that you would read the book and say, ‘Well, I personally don’t want to kill half the universe, but I completely understand why Thanos does, and it makes perfect sense, and I don’t see how he could turn out any other way.’”

Lyga adds that the book will lend additional context to some of Thanos’ appearances in the MCU so far. It’s also worth noting that the book’s summary describes Thanos as “the most formidable foe the Avengers, the Guardians of the Galaxy, Doctor Strange, and Black Panther have ever faced — a foe whom even a group of remarkable people, pulled together to fight the battles nobody else could, will fail to stop.” Well, that last bit doesn’t bode well for anybody, now does it?

There are plenty of candidates up for grabs by the icy claws of death, with one of the longest cast lists in the history of cinema attached to Avengers 3, but some are more likely than others. So who do you think will die? Vote in our poll below and we'll see who you think is going to say goodbye come Infinity War's release in a few weeks time.

We haven't included everyone who's in Infinity War, because that's almost impossible, but you'll find all your favourite (*sob*) MCU characters in the list below, as well as Thanos himself (the good guys might win, right? RIGHT?!). You can vote for more than one character if you think that's likely, but there's also an easy-to-click 'EVERYONE' option at the bottom just in case you think our theory that everyone will die will come true. Then again, maybe everyone will walk out just fine... Yeah...

And so I present, in order of billing – oh to be a fly on that wall in that meeting – the stars of Avengers: Infinity War, with a handy reminder of what each core character is presently up to. Cut them out and fashion them into a sort of Hollywood Top Trumps set, if you feel the urge.

Spoiler Warning: I don't know anything about this movie, but spoilers for those who don't even want a hint of what might happen.

There's been no shortage of rumors surrounding Avengers: Infinity War over the years, and while a fair portion of them are beyond crazy, some of them are pretty believable. It's that believability that makes a rumor so enticing! The plot may be a mystery but based on what we do know, these are the rumors we think will actually come true in Avengers: Infinity War.Release Date: April 27, 2018
